The Seventh International Small Animal Exhibition, a Specialized Exhibition of Indigenous Breeds and an Ethno Food Festival, supported by LUKOIL SERBIA, were held on March 7 and 8, 2025, during the celebration of Theodore's Saturday. The event was organized as part of the horse racing in Kasidol.
LUKOIL SERBIA has allocated fuel assistance for the transportation of equipment necessary for the event, which is organized by the Association for the Protection and Breeding of Small Animals, Poultry, Pigeons, Rabbits and Birds "Kikirez".
As part of its program of socially responsible projects, LUKOIL SERBIA supported the further development of the best swimmer in Serbia in the pioneering competition in 2024, Boško Đekić. The company allocated funds for the purchase of fuel for the needs of traveling to domestic and international competitions of one of the top prospects of Serbian swimming in 2025, such as the World School Games, Banjaluka Open and others.
During 2024, Boško, as an older pioneer, won 56 gold, 16 silver and one bronze medals at international competitions. At the Summer National Championships of Serbia, he became the national champion in his favorite discipline - 50m freestyle and won three more silver medals. At the Winter National Championships, he won four gold medals and one silver. He ended 2024 with the "Young Swimmers League" competition in Novi Sad, where he was awarded the trophy for the most versatile swimmer.
The Russian language classroom at the "Nikola Tesla" Elementary School in Bački Brestovac was equipped with the necessary furniture, devices and teaching materials thanks to a donation from LUKOIL SERBIA.
This donation is part of a wider program of LUKOI`s socially responsible activities, aimed at supporting projects in the fields of education, science and culture.
LUKOIL SRBIJA provided the financial support for the redevelopment of the park zone in New Belgrade. Total area of 6,206 m² was renovated at Bulеvаr Mihajlа Pupina 173 in New Belgrade.
In accordance with the needs of the users, as well as the characteristics of this space and its immediate surroundings, the basketball court and the walking paths with a rest area were replanned and renovated. Rest area and a plateau with chess tables and concrete benches were installed. The lawn was replanted with grass seeds after the completion of construction works.
The redevelopment of the area also included the installation of two outdoor libraries near the children's playground and on a plateau with the chess tables. Now on local residents can exchange books from their home libraries and enjoy reading in the renovated park.
This donation is a part of the Cooperation Agreement that LUKOIL and the City of Belgrade have been nurturing since 2016 with the aim of supporting significant city projects in the fields of culture, ecology, sports, and social programs.
LUKOIL SRBJA has provided New Year's gifts for pupils at the "Boško Buha" elementary school in Belgrade. The presents are specially designed for children with special needs and were selected to encourage and develop students' creativity and motor skills.
"Boško Buha" elementary school in addition to the implementation of mandatory subjects, also includes centers of interest, speech therapy and psychomotor exercises, health education and a program for the prevention of antisocial behavior.
LUKOIL SRBJA has been supporting this school for seven years, enventing different greetings for kids each time. This Christmas Eve the Company's humanitarian action was joined by members of the "Mini Klub Srbija". The drivers of cheerful Minis dressed up as Santa Claus delivered gifts and inspiration from LUKOIL to 105 pupils.
LUKOIL SRBIJA company effected the donation to enable the modernization and functioning of the Internet in the building of the Karlovac Theological Seminary. Cables and equipment for the stable functioning of the Internet connection and the secure and uninterrupted operation of this institution were purchased and installed.
The church educational institution celebrates 230 years of operation this year. Found in 1794 the Karlovci Theological Seminary is the second theological school in the Orthodox world.
LUKOIL Srbija provided financial support for the reconstruction of the monument to Soviet war veterans in Avala. The works included the cleaning and restoration of the memorial plaque, the complete restoration of the sculpture, pedestal, and information board, as well as landscaping and other repairs to the monument.
The monument symbolically depicts a broken airplane wing to mark the 60th anniversary of the tragical death of the 18-member Soviet military delegation in a plane crash on the slopes of Avala. The plane crashed on October 19, 1964, on their way to the 20th anniversary celebration from the liberation of Belgrade. A monument was erected at the site of the accident in 1965.
On The Day of Liberation of Belgrade, wreaths were laid by representatives of the Serbian Government, the Serbian Army, the diplomatic corps, as well as representatives of LUKOIL Srbija and veterans' associations.
The gas station LUKOIL SERBIA "Avalski put" in Belgrade was the starting point of a caravan of vintage cars. The Rally of Princ Tomislav went along the route Belgrade - Mladenovac - Topola - Aranđelovac, 250 kilometers long. This rally is held every year under the patronage of the Karađorđević Royal Family, and LUKOIL SERBIA traditionally supports the event with fuel. This year, 50 selected models of production from the 1920s to the 1970s from the country and abroad arrived.
A tactical-demonstration exercise performed by the firefighting unit at the LUKOIL SRBIJA petroleum products warehouse in Ostružnica was held according to an adopted report on firefighting exercise. The goal of this exercise was to demonstrate the operation and check the readiness of the Ostružnica firefighting unit to localize a fire until the arrival of a professional fire department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The unit demostrated the ability to independently limit an emergency situation in the event of depressurization of a tank and leakage of petroleum products into a tank, which results in the ignition of spilled petroleum products.
The exercise was preceded by specialized theoretical and practical training during the summer months in the field of preventive and proactive actions of the fire unit.
Through the exercise, the SND Ostružnica firefighting unit successfully demonstrated that it not only knows how to perform prevention, but can also successfully deal with an accident.
