CITY BEACH AND SWIMMING POOL IN BЕLA CRKVA RECONSTRUCTED WITH THE HELP OF LUKOIL SRBIJA

This year's third project, as part of LUKOIL SERBIA's support for institutions and facilities for children and youth, was successfully completed in Bela Crkva. This time it was the reconstruction of the city beach and the swimming pool of the Jezero Water Polo Club, which has a 50-year tradition.
The Mayor of the municipality, Violeta Simić, addressed all those present at the opening ceremony. Thanking the donors for recognizing the potential of the Water Polo Club swimming pool and Bela Crkva, she stressed: «The reconstruction of the pool is extremely important for Bela Crkva. After years of stagnation and neglect of this part of the lake, we have restored it and now we have the preconditions for a successful future.»
On behalf of LUKOIL SRBIJA, HR Director Ana Janković said the company is socially responsible and that it is trying to help the local community in which it operates. «As a company that always insists on respect for values and invests in sports, youth, children, in the year in which we are celebrating the 30-year jubilee of LUKOIL, the restoration of the Bela Crkva swimming pool is the result of these efforts. Similar actions will take place in five other towns in Serbia, from opening outdoor classroom, donations in sports props, to planting trees in Sombor, so that there will be more of these actions by the end of the year.»
«Works included landscaping the coastal part, repairing the metal structure, paving and painting the stands. All this was done thanks to the local administration of the Bela Crkva municipality, headed by Mayor Violeta Simić and thanks to our dear friends from LUKOIL SRBIJA AD, Metaling, Wiener Stдdtische, and MeridianBet,» the President of the Jezero Water Polo Club Bojan Stojanović stated.
Members of the Jezero Water Polo Club played a game in the lake pool, while members of the club administration, representatives of the Bela Crkva municipality and representatives of the donors visited the reconstructed beach and swimming pool.
