With the signing of the agreement, the long-term cooperation continued, and on this occasion, three triple agreements on financing cultural events in Belgrade were also signed. The agreements on cooperation were signed on behalf of CEBEF by the acting director Damir Handanović, on behalf of the Dadov Youth Theater by the director Vladimir Mijović and on behalf of the Belgrade Youth Center by the acting director Nenad Dragović.

Mladenović pointed out that LUKOIL SRBIJA is an example of a socially responsible company and that it has been a friend of the City of Belgrade for many years. “We express our gratitude to LUKOIL because it is still with the City of Belgrade and our cultural events, especially in this difficult period caused by the corona virus pandemic. Agreements have been signed with three city institutions on support for cultural events decades-long tradition,” said Mladenović. He specified that it is a matter of support for FEST, the March and Belgrade Jazz Festivals, as well as the manifestations “Days of Belgrade” and “Days of Freedom”.

General Manager of “LUKOIL SERBIA” Denis Ryupin said that the company has the honor of providing support to cultural events and manifestations organized by the City of Belgrade since 2016. “We are convinced that our support will contribute to holding cultural events important for the city, but also that the offer will be even more interesting and better for the citizens, as well as for the visitors of Belgrade. I am extremely happy if we have the opportunity to support such and similar projects in the future as well,” Denis Ryupin indicated.

As part of the Days of Belgrade event, Dadov will organize a series of events, mostly outdoors, announced Mijović. These are, among other things, the exhibitions “80 years since the bombing of Belgrade, April 6, 1941”, “Builders of New Belgrade”, as well as the homage to Momo Kapor. The acting Director of CEBEF Damir Handanović announced an interesting program of this year’s FEST which will be implemented in accordance with the epidemiological measures. On behalf of the Belgrade Youth Center, Vladimir Dragović pointed out that the very signing of the contract with LUKOIL gives hope for a return to normal life. For this year, he announced a double edition of the March Festival and the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the first Belgrade Jazz Festival, with an appeal to citizens to get vaccinated, so that everyone can enjoy the rich program this spring.
