THE TRADITION CONTINUES - VOLUNTARY BLOOD DRIVE AT LUKOIL SRBIJA DIRECTORATE
Thursday, July 2, 2020
In cooperation with the Blood Transfusion Institute of Serbia and the Serbian Red Cross, LUKOIL SRBIJA opened its large hall in New Belgrade for all those who wanted to give their contribution to facilitate the work of medical services during the summer months and perhaps save some lives. Every year at this time, the Blood Transfusion Institute of Serbia sends numerous appeals to citizens for blood donations.
The traditional blood drive at LUKOIL SRBIJA was continued last year after a break of several years. Thus, on July 2, colleagues who were able to participate in this deeply humane activity gathered in the big hall on the fifth floor.
This year, more new donors joined our colleagues who are regular blood donors. Several colleagues have recently donated blood in line with their regular donor activities, so they were not eligible to donate at the moment, while a number of colleagues were rejected for health and medical reasons. During this action, all protection and disinfection measures were strictly observed, and body temperatures were measured preventively, for all potential blood donors.
We are proud of all our colleagues who, in accordance with their abilities, have expressed a desire to help, those who have made and regularly make this humane gesture.
