COMPUTER EQUIPMENT DONATED TO SCHOOLS IN ĆUPRIЈA

On the Municipality of Ćupriја Day, 13 October, with the aim of fostering good relations with the local community as well as improvement of conditions for motivating young people for education, LUKОIL SRBIЈА AD donated computer equipment to the Ćuprija educational institutions: 40 PCs with monitors, no longer used by the employees, were distributed to primary schools, “13 October“, “Vuk Kаrаdžić“, “Đurа Јаkšić“, Ćupriја Grammar School, Ćuprija Medical Secondary School and Ćuprija Secondary Теchnical School. In the Municipal Assembly Hall, Cooperation Agreements and the equipment handover Protocol with the principals of these schools were signed on behalf of the Company by Ana Janković, Director of HR and Administrative Affairs. Before the signing ceremony, the gathering was welcomed by the host, Djordje Nеškоvić, Member of the Ćuprija Municipal Council, responsible for education and supervision of the Municipal Administration Inspections. He emphasized that the LUKОIL Company has been present in Ćupriјa for many years and that it has substantially supported supply for the citizens of Ćuprija and been a significant partner of the local self-government. – We are all very happy and pleased with the initiative of LUKОIL SRBIЈА AD to help the education of our youth, which is the reason why we we have exerted efforts to help the ones who need the helping hand the most. At the time when our schools achieve significant results in certain fields with minimal funds, which makes them one of the best schools in Serbia, modernization of their teaching processes is an additional impulse for further improvement, Mr. Nеškоvić said while expressing his gratitude to the Company. — In the year when we are celebrating LUKОIL 25th Anniversary, as a socially responsible Company, we would like to provide conditions to make these young people — already great men grow from good students into experts who will contribute to the development of their city and future, while you, their teachers and school management can prepare them better for the challenges awaiting them in real life, Company Director of of HR and Administrative Affairs said, emphasizing that this donation has been realized with full support of the local self-government and that she is looking forward to future good cooperation as well. After the official part, the hosts tried to present in brief the specificities of work in their environment as well as trends and solutions applied in practice.
