LUKOIL SRBIJA’S DONATION TO THE GYNECOLOGICAL HOSPITAL AT KBC ZVEZDARA

​​A donation earmarked for the procurement of equipment was awarded by LUKOIL SRBIJA AD to the Obstetrics and Gynecological Hospital, Zvezdara Clinical-Hospital Center. On this occasion, the Deputy Director at KBC Zvezdara, Professor Petar Svorcan, MD, awarded a letter of merit to the Human Resources Director at LUKOIL SRBIJA, Ana Janković, in the presence of the Mayor of Zvezdara, Miloš Ignjatović, the Head of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Vesna Stojanović, as well as other members of the hospital.

Professor Petar Svorcan, MD thanked LUKОIL SRBIЈА for its socially responsible behavior and donation, which will be of great benefit for this institution: “These funds will be directed towards purchasing a CTG device that monitors a baby's heartbeat, while still in the womb and, at the same time as uterine contractions. KBC Zvezdara is the largest clinical center in Belgrade and the second largest in Serbia. 2,500 babies are born at the Gynecology Clinic on an annual basis.

“We work very closely with KBC Zvezdara and we set aside funds, every year, for assistance to an institution that is in our municipality. We welcome the Government’s strategy aimed at creating conditions favorable for increasing the birth rate in our country,” said Mr. Ignjatović.

Expressing her satisfaction at being able to represent the company on this occasion, the HR Director at LUKOIL SRBIJA noted: “I would like to thank the professionals who care about our future and I hope that we have contributed, if only a little bit, to improving the conditions and services that this renowned institution has been providing responsibly and dutifully."

"This Obstetrics and Gynecological Hospital is an endowment from Nikola Spasić, so that with this wonderful gesture, LUKОIL SRBIЈА continues this tradition of donations. In addition to the maternity ward, we have operating rooms where we perform all types of surgical interventions. Our institution has the biggest gerontology department in the Balkans, ,” noted the Head of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Vesna Stojanović.
