On the occasion of 114 years since the publication of the first issue of the daily “Politika”, the Belgrade City Assembly hosted the official awarding ceremony where the "Politika" award for the fine arts and the "Politikin Zabavnik" award for best literary work intended for the young were presented.

The laureate of the "Politika" award is the painter Mileta Prodanović, for his exhibition "Gеnus-pоrоdičnе pričе", held in December of 2017 at The Nadeћda Petrović Art Gallery in Čačak, while the award was presented by the Editor-In-Chief of “Politika” Ћarko Rakić.

Jasminka Petrović was named the laureate of "Politikin Zabavnik’s" 39th literary award competition for her book "Svе је u rеdu", published by the Creative Center. The decision was made by a jury consisting of: Nebojљa Bradić, theater director and president of the jury; Vladimir Kostić, the president of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts; Duљan Petričić, illustrator; Zoran Simjanović, composer; and Petar Milatović, deputy editor-in-chief of "Politikin Zabavnik". The jury stated that, "in the book ‘Svе је u rеdu’, the author addresses the most dramatic, sensitive and intriguing developmental period, growing up, which she knows and feels so well, as if she was still living through it."

The award was presented to Jasminka Petrović by the Editor-In-Chief of "Politikin Zabavnik" Zefirino Grasi and the General Director of LUKOIL SRBIJA Igor Semenichev, this year's friend and patron of the “Politikin Zabavnik” award.
