The Belgrade Faculty of Economics was the place where on 21 May awards and diplomas to to the students, winners of the Contest on the topic: “Oil Company “LUKOIL SRBIJA” AD as Regional Centre of Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Croatia - the Potential and Risks", implemented in cooperation with “LUKOIL SRBIJA” AD, were given.

“Third time in a row, in cooperation with “LUKOIL SRBIJA”, we have organised this joint contest for writing a research paper on a certain topic, intended for our students. We always have a problem to select, among so many excellent papers, the best ones and award them.

I would like to express my gratitude to “LUKOIL SRBIJA”, which cherishes this cooperation with our Faculty, and I would like to thank to all our participants, both students and the members of the Committee,” the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Dr. Branislav Boričić, said hoping that this form of cooperation will continue.

The Committee decided to give the 1st Place Award and the prize money of RSD 50,000 to Milica Jevtić. The 2nd Place Award and prize money of RSD 40,000 was given to Milica Đotunović and Žana Jankovski, while the 3rd Place Award and prize money of RSD 30,000 was divided into two: a two-member team consisting of Matija Panić and Stefan Karajanković, while the other paper was written by Nenad Tešić.

“Within this long-lasting cooperation with the Faculty of Economy, we define every year a topic and award students who write the best papers. Your participation in these contests testifies to your role in active learning and your personality as well. I am convinced that these awards will help you and be useful in your future studies, maybe even your future employment,” the Senior Human Resources and Administrative Manager, Alexei Grigoriev, said on the occasion of diploma handing over.

The Contest was open from 11 April to 11 May of this year, and students of Basic Academic Studies and Master Studies of the Faculty of Economics were entitled to participate.

- I competed for the first time in this type of student contest. I won and I am very happy about this. I would like to thank LUKOIL SRBIJA, which enabled our participation in such an inspirational and interesting program, as well as the Faculty, which enabled our gathering on this beautiful occasion. During the studies we have worked a lot on our seminar papers, but this is the first time that I’ve got an acknowledgement from professional practice point of view that I did a good job and that some of my ideas could be implemented in practice”, Milica Jevtić, student of postgraduate studies, said.
