Supported by LUKOIL SRBIJA The FEST Film Festival was officially opened for the 48th time and is being held from February 28th until March 8th. The opening ceremony was held at Sava Center. Jugoslav Pantelić, the artistic director of FEST, invited the audience to come and see carefully selected film creations being shown in five Belgrade cinemas. This year's FEST was in honor of Bekim Fehmiu, one of the greatest actors from this region. Mira Banjac, a legend of Serbian theater, was this year's winner of the "Belgrade Victor Award" for her outstanding contribution to the film arts. This year's FEST opened with the movie "Father", directed by Srdan Golubović, who just received the Audience Award for best feature film at the Berlin Festival.
The recently signed cooperation agreement with the City of Belgrade for 2020, followed by an additional three contracts with cultural institutions operating in the capital, are a continuation of the cooperation between the City of Belgrade and LUKOIL company aimed at implementing and financing projects in the field of sports, culture, science and social protection.
