LUKOIL SRBIJA DONATES NEW PLAYGROUND FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

Company LUKOIL SRBIJA allocated funds for construction and installation of a multi-purpose playground with swings, slides, playhouse and various other equipment in the Home for Children with Developmental Disorders "Kоlеvkа" in Subotica. Now children can develop their motor skills and feel the joy and benefits of play at the open air.
This institution was founded in 1903 as an orphanage, and since 1920 bears the name "Kоlеvkа" (cradle), a name that symbolizes humane activity in which it is still engaged today. It takes care of children with developmental disabilities up to 26 years of age coming from Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina (Rеpublika Srpska). From its founding to the present day, more than 10,000 children took their first steps and got adequate care here. Home also provides services of a receipt station for vagrant children and young people up to 18 years of age found in the territory of the City of Subotica, or detected due to the vicinity of the border in illegal border crossing; as well as infirmary mother and child services – accommodation of pregnant women and mothers with up to 1-year-old infants.
