LUKOIL SRBIJA FRIEND OF THE 50th FEST

Eighty-eight premieres, new achievements from cult authors, and more than four hundred screenings will be presented during the jubilee edition of FEST held from February 25 to March 6, it has been announced at a press conference held at the Old Palace. LUKOIL SRBIJA has rightly held the title of "Friends of the Festival" for many years, since this is the longest-running and most important regional review of international films, one of the projects supported by the company under the Cooperation Agreement with the City of Belgrade.
As announced at the City Assembly by Ivan Karl, Secretary for Culture and President of the FEST Board, Jugoslav Pantelić, Artistic Director of FEST, Damir Handanović, Acting Director of the Center of Belgrade Festivals (CEBEF), and Dragoslav Fredi Stanisavljević, Director of Music Production at RTS, this will be an exciting, ambitious and representative edition of FEST, conceived with the seriousness a 50th jubilee deserves, a period of time during which it was one of the most important festivals in this part of Europe, and which was attended by global movie stars.
The 50th jubilee slogan is FEST is a NEW, BRAVE WORLD. At the 421st film screening, as announced by Jugoslav Pantelić: “We will have the opportunity to see the premiere of 88 feature films within six selections, and in the main competition program, in the race for the "Belgrade Winner" award, 20 new achievements from Serbia, France, Italy, Russia, Greece, Romania, the USA, Poland, Austria, Australia, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia".
