JOINT PROJECTS AND DEVELOPMENT – LUKOIL SRBIJA AND THE CITY OF BELGRADE

Today, in the premises of LUKOIL SRBIJA AD a meeting of the Company Management, headed by CEO Andrei Cucu, with the representatives of the City of Belgrade - Deputy Mayor, Andrija Mladenović, City Manager, Goran Vesić, and Assistant Chief of Staff of the Mayor of the City of Belgrade, Predrag Vulinović, was held in an effort to draft basic guidelines for expanding long-term cooperation in 2016.
After making public, in December of last year, the cooperation with the City of Belgrade by signing the Agreement on financing projects in cultural, scientific, sports and environmental fields as well as social and humanitarian projects, the participants of the working meeting agreed that it is necessary to define as soon as possible priority projects in the City that could be supported by "LUKOIL SRBIJA".
Deputy Mayor Andrija Mladenović emphasized that the City is willing to provide full support to resolving all issues concerning the Company's development and added: “Beside business cooperation it is necessary to develop also other spheres of importance for Belgrade, such as socially responsible projects. It is my pleasure that such a company with world reputation ranking as LUKOIL is, recognized Belgrade as an important place on the European map“.
Goran Vesić informed that in accordance with the two-year experience giving excellent results, it is necessary to establish a Working Group consisting of the representatives of the City Administration and "LUKOIL SRBIJA". “Such Committee will be operationally engaged in settling all issues of importance for both parties. Thus, all processes will be given a maximum speed-up, since all City Secretariats will participate in these activities”, the City Manager said.
Andrei Cucu emphasized that "LUKOIL SRBIJA" AD is always ready for cooperation for the benefit of both parties, highlighting the following: “All that is being done is done for the citizens, including our employees and their children“. He assured the participants that the Company is willing to resolve with the City, in the future as well, all issues arising in the community, in which the Company is doing its business.
